My Boss denied me training and any reporting information that is essential to my job. He manages me long distance and he does not understand my real needs.Because of this I am unable to provide accurate information and management in the company are asking me lots of questions. I have mentioned the issue to him several times but I got no response. Out of frustration I communicated management the issues I am experiencing. I hope I don’t get fired by my boss.
I like what I do but I hate the constant political issues.

If he fired you for that I think you had a real case of unfair dismissal. Keep all records of any communication you’ve had with him asking for training tools and any response he has made in case anyone wants proof. I think you just carry on as normal unless he says something. It sounds like you dealt with it in the right way, it’s not nice to rat someone out but if you’re not getting what you deserve then you need to let someone know. Good on you. I hope you don’t get fired.

How do you tolerate dealing with a boss that gets mad at every single mistake, or anything that is out of your control?

For example, they get mad if you can’t get a product from a vendor.
They get mad if you order the wrong product

Things like that etc….

If you are in a place that has a high turnover, how do you deal with a boss like that so that you aren’t yet another person that quits?

Depends if you really need the job or not. I’ve Worked for some really miserable people because I had no other choice. Not that it made it any better, but no choice. All you can do is your best. Sharpen up on things that are in your control and let those things that are outside your control slide. You can’t change your Boss; and he sounds like he likes being mad. Take a deep breath and think happier thoughts.

A very valued manager has resigned but the boss didn’t accept her resignation. What is a good way to convince the boss to accept her resignation? She is really set on resigning to expand her horizons and experience but it’s understandable that the boss doesn’t want to let her go because she occupies a crucial position in the company that is currently difficult to replace.
